Doom on Xbox One

Another weekend, another free Xbox One game to play for Xbox Live members. This weekend, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play Doom, including all its DLC, in all its glory. Due to “some confusion,” Doom is available to play for free for both Xbox Live Gold and Silver members all weekend.

Doom is one of the best shooters of 2016 and now is your chance to play Doom on Xbox Live, starting at 9:00 AM PDT, Thursday, July 20, 2017. Once Doom is available to play for free on Xbox Live, you’ll have unlimited access to Doom’s multiplayer and SnapMap modes too.

The free Doom Xbox Live weekend is being offered in celebration of Doom’s special “Update 6.66,” a new free update that came earlier this week that added a new multiplayer progression system, a bunch of UI, performance, and bug fixes. If you want to play Doom past this weekend, you can get it in the Xbox Store for $14.99.

So, get ready to play Doom this weekend starting at 9:00 AM PDT, July 20, 2017, until July 24 at 9:00 PM PDT on Xbox Live.

Buy Doom for Xbox One from the Xbox Store. Price drop won’t happen until the Doom free-play weekend on Xbox Live.
