It’s taken a while but New Zealander gamers are now able to purchase a new Xbox One S or Xbox One X video game console as part of a monthly payment plan via a mobile carrier.

Offered by Spark, the Xbox All Access (the official term for such an Xbox payment plan) plans on offer in New Zealand include the Xbox One X console and the regular version of the Xbox One S. The All-Digital version isn’t on offer.

The Xbox One S bundle can be purchased for NZD$32 a month while the Xbox One X bundle can be claimed for NZD$39 a month. Both come with the Forza Horizon 4 and LEGO Speed Champions game and add-on and two years of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass which unlocks around 100 video games on a rotational basis.

There’s no mention of any Xbox Series X upgrade offers on the Spark website but the official Spark Twitter account did reply to a curious customer by telling them to “Watch this space” which is pretty much confirmation that such an option is on the way. It may take a while though as it took almost half a year for an upgrade option to become available in Australia.
