Windows Subsystem for Android gets a Windows Insider update

Microsoft has released an update to the Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11, with the September 2023 update bringing the version number to 2308.40000.3.0. This update includes “improvements to system and graphics reliability.”

Here’s what’s included in this latest update for WSA, which allows Windows users to run Android apps on their PCs:

  • Platform reliability improvements 
  • Localhost loopback support for “Local network access” experimental feature 
  • Clipboard reliability and performance improvements 
  • Kernel update to improve compatibility with running ARM applications on x64 processors
