Upcoming Chuwi Windows 10 “LapBook” brings Intel’s Apollo Lake CPU to notebooks

As the months progresses, and as Windows 10 becomes increasingly popular, more manufacturers are making Windows 10 devices. The China-based company Chuwi is among the growing list of manufacturers dipping their toes in the new operating system waters and is soon set to release a Windows 10 “LapBook” which will bring Intel’s Apollo Lake CPU to notebooks (via Neowin.)

According to Neowin, priced at $300, the Chuwi Windows 10 “LapBook” will be an affordable Windows 10 device, complete with perfect specs for the average Windows 10 user. The device will sport a 14.1-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) IPS LCD with 8mm bezels, and will be powered by Intel’s new Apollo Lake N3450 CPU with a HD 500 graphics. The “LapBook” will also come with 64 GB of storage, 4 GB of RAM, complete with 2 x USB Type-A ports.

Of course, the device will be powered by 9000mAH LiPo battery and will come with the Anniversary Update pre-installed. While an exact release date is not certain, Neowin reports that the LapBook will be released before the end of this month.
