The Sims 4 and Citadel: Forged with Fire are free to play with Xbox Live Gold this weekend

Another weekend brings another round of Free Play Days for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Starting now until Sunday, July 12, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT, Sims 4 and Citadel: Forged with Fire are available to play for free. As always, you can download and install the games via or by going to the Xbox Live Gold member area on the home dashboard on your Xbox One.

If you want to keep playing after the Free Play Days weekend is over, you can purchase either game (or both!) at a limited time discount while keeping your Gamerscore and Xbox achievements earned during the Free Play Days event. As noted in a post on Xbox Wire, both Xbox One games and their DLC are available for deep discounts.

Sims 4 lets you create your own alter ego and unleash your imagination. All Sims content, including expansion packs and more are available for sale in the Microsoft Store. Citadel: Forged with Fire lets you create a name for yourself in a massive online fantasy sandbox on Xbox Live. You start at the bottom as an apprentice in the mystic arts and work your way up among allies and enemies, tame dragons, and build massive fortresses.

Do not miss this weekend’s Free Play Days for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members! As a reminder, Xbox Live Gold members can upgrade their existing subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1. With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you get all of the benefits of Xbox Live Gold plus access to hundreds of games to play on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Get it today!
