Call it strong demand or call it limited inventory, either way, Microsoft’s newest and most expensive Surface Book model is already out of stock on the company’s online retail store (United States). Those looking to get their hands on the $2,699 512GB, Core i7 with 16GB of RAM will have to wait a tad bit longer.
Other models of the Surface Book remain available for pre-order, including the entry-level 128GB Core i5 with 8GB of RAM for $1,499, all the way up to the 256GB Core i7 with 8GB of RAM for $2,099. All models feature a 13.5-inch PixelSense touch-screen display with a resolution of 3000×2000. The Surface Pen comes included with each purchase.
If you missed it, we recently launched a contest where one lucky reader can win the entry-level Surface Book model. You still have a chance to enter the contest, so head over here and check it out. You can also follow all Surface Book related news by bookmarking this page.
Thanks for the tip, Michael!
