Sprint rolling out Windows Phone 8.1 update for the Samsung Ativ S Neo

Sprint may have discontinued selling Windows Phone handsets, but if you’re using the Samsung Ativ S Neo, you may want to check your device as the carrier is rolling out the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update for the handset. The latest update bumps the software version to 2216.14.11.2 and brings Windows Phone 8.1. One of our readers Mark Hayen also confirmed the update is rolling out for the handset.

The update is rolling out as we speak, but don’t panic if you don’t receive it right away. It can take a few days for the update to completely roll out, but the impatient ones can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates. If it’s there, just follow the on-screen instructions to get started.

Now that Samsung Ativ S Neo is getting the update, we’re hoping the HTC 8XT would be next in line to get the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update.
