Shazam for Windows Phone sees a big update bringing lots of improvements

Identifying songs can be a painful process if no one around knows what song is playing, but with smartphones, Shazam takes the hassle out of song identification. Now it is fast and easy to have Shazam listen to music playing and get the song information quickily. The Windows Phone app is seeing a big update which makes the experience much better for Windows Phone users and music lovers.

The new app uses a new recognition engine which can deliver positive song IDs faster and more accurately. In addition to faster identifying, the app now opens faster which can make all the difference when trying to race against the song ending. The UI has also been redesigned for Windows Phone 8.1, which means that it is natural and easy to use on any Windows Phone. Last but far from least, Shazam has also created new song pages with lyrics, video and integration with Xbox Music so users can get the album right away on their device.
