Select PC Game Pass titles come to Nvidia GeForce Now starting this week

A few months back it was reported that some PC Game Pass games would be coming to Nvidia’s cloud gaming platform, GeForce Now.

The announcement on Xbox Wire stated that the Xbox team would “be rolling this out in the months ahead. And now it looks like they are beginning to make good on that promise as the first round of PC Game Pass games will arrive on GeForce now this week. This initial roster includes the following.

  • Deathloop
  • Grounded
  • No Man’s Sky
  • Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord

That’s an impressive lineup to start out with! Each of these games will launch on Nvidia GeForce Now on Thursday, August 24. The rest of the PC Game Pass catalog will follow over time.

This move to bring PC Game Pass titles to a rival cloud gaming platform is likely part of Microsoft’s play to win over the CMA, with which it is trying to iron out a compromise over the U.K. regulator’s cloud gaming concerns. Earlier this week, Microsoft presented the CMA a restructured Activision Blizzard deal that would divest Activision’s cloud gaming to Ubisoft.
