Microsoft recently made available the third update to Visual Studio 2012, and it is available as a Release Candidate for immediate download. Microsoft has been issuing updates for Visual Studio 2012 in a frequent basis thanks to user feedback and suggestions.

Before Update 3 was released in preview form, Microsoft also released Update 1 and Update 2 in three month intervals to address bugs and add new features. But what exactly do these new updates provide? Microsoft plans to hold a live webcast introducing developers to the new features that are added to a one year old Visual Studio 2012.

“The Visual Studio Team has moved into a quarterly update model, which provides users the opportunity to take advantage of new features sooner than in previous release milestones,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post. On May 29th, Microsoft’s Visual Studio team will hold a live webcast showcasing what’s new with these updates..
