Microsoft has recently launched a brand new Surface Pro hybrid tablet along with a new Surface Laptop in select countries, but that doesn’t mean that the company is done selling the nearly two years old Surface Pro 4. And if you’re not interested in the latest tablet model, you might be interested by the new Surface Pro 4 with Type cover bundle which can make you save more than $300 on a pretty solid configuration.
Indeed, the $999 bundle includes a mid-range Surface Pro 4 model with an Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM ($1,199 value) plus a free black Type Cover ($129.99). Contrary to what Microsoft says on the store listing, the two products bought separately represent a $1,328.99 value instead of $1,269, which is a really good deal.
Be aware that the bundle doesn’t include a Surface Pen, which is now sold separately. If you can live without the latest Intel processors, the better battery life and the improved hinge that come with Microsoft’s latest Surface Pro tablet (which starts at $799 for the Core M3 model), then you can’t really go wrong with this special offer. If you can wait a little more though, it might be worth it to see if Microsoft discounts its new Surface Pro during the holiday season. Let us know in the comments if you would recommend this bundle to Surface fans.Further reading: Microsoft, Microsoft Store US, Surface Pro 4
