ProShot, the self-proclaimed “world’s most advanced camera app,” added an update to its current Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile app. ProShot is geared towards the Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile user looking to take quality pictures without the need to tote around a DSLR.
ProShot offers nine adjustable camera settings, four drive modes, and five display features, making it one of the few Windows Phone camera apps with that level of customization. The Lumia Camera is a good camera and shares some of the same camera features of ProShot, but not all.
ProShot surpasses the Lumia Camera by offering Exposure Compensation, AF Assist Lamp, and an Intervalometer for timelapse photography, just to name a few. ProShot also offers 10X zoom, another feature that is not found in the default Lumia camera. Even with all these features, there is room for improvement for ProShot.

The creator of ProShot, Rise Up Games, wanted to thank its fans for their support and to announce their work on ProShot for Windows 10:

“Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. It has been an amazing journey, and we are so grateful to the Windows community for having us. We are happy to announce that we hard at work on the next version of ProShot, built from the ground up and designed specifically for Windows 10. It is truly going to be something special, and we can’t wait to share it with you. We will have more details in the coming weeks.”

It will be interesting to see how Rise Up Games improves ProShot for Windows 10. ProShot for Windows 10 may will give DSLRs a run for their money.
