Phone Companion, Mail and Calendar apps for Windows 10 snag minor updates

Ron

If you are a regular user of the Phone Companion app for Windows, there is a nice little update waiting for you in the Windows Store. Microsoft has not provided a change log, indicating that this update most likely addresses bugs and improves performance. Here’s the app description if you are not familiar with the app:
“Automatically get all the stuff you love on your Windows 10 PC to your phone or tablet – even Android, iPhone, and iPad! The Phone Companion app will help you set things up so you never need to plug your phone or tablet into your PC again. Your music, photos, Word documents and Cortana reminders will be with you, whether you’re at your desk or out and about. It’s all of your stuff, on all of your devices.”
Microsoft has also updated the Mail and Calendar apps for Windows. This particular update adds a new weather setting in the Calendar so you can set the  Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature scale. The update also fixes app crashes and other bugs. A rather minor update from Microsoft but still nice to see the company paying attention to the improvement of their own apps.
You can snag both apps from the download link below. Let us know if you notice any improvements that were not mentioned above — you never know!
