Blizzard’s Overwatch game will be free this week, and anyone on any platform can download the game and have access to the majority of its features, including its 29 characters available as well as play on 19 different maps (via ESTNN). What’s more, anyone who purchases the game after the trial period can access all of their saved data from before by logging into the same Blizzard or Xbox Live account that was used during the trial.

Of course, as this is an online game, you’ll need an Xbox Gold subscription to play. Luckily, Microsoft is giving new users their first month for $1 as part of its early Black Friday sale, so now is probably the best time to get it if you’ve been planning to do so.

Blizzard has ran other free trials before, with their most recent one being last August. However this time the game is free for a whole seven days, starting from today (November 20) and ending November 26.

Are you a current owner of Overwatch, or will you be participating in the trial? Your thoughts about the game are welcome in the comment area below.
