Overwatch is now free to play with Xbox Live Gold through December 4

Overwatch is now free to play for Xbox Live Gold members, so anyone who hasn’t gotten to join the RPG meets first-person shooter now have the chance to try it out. This also gives current owners, such as those looking add more support or another tank to their team, a chance to let others play it for free so that they can see what it’s like.

Of course, this promotion is only available for a little over a week, so you or a friend with Xbox Love Gold will want to participate before it’s no longer available for free on December 4.

If you like your experience, the game is also on sale at 67% off right now as part of this week’s Deals with Gold, which brings it to just $19.79 right now exclusively for Gold members. Additionally, any progress you’ve made and any loot you’ve collected during the free run will automatically transfer over after the purchase as long as you use the same Microsoft account to purchase the game that was used during the free trial.

Will you be participating in the free trial run, or do you know someone who would love to join? Your thoughts and comments are welcome below.
