With the Mango update right around the corner, Microsoft has rolled out the brand new Windows Phone Marketplace for Windows Phone. Using the marketplace, you can browse for apps, read reviews, look at screenshots, and purchase apps. These apps can be sent to your Windows Phone device.

Normally, the Windows Phone Marketplace had been available on each device, but this will be the first time one can browse apps on the web. The number one app so far is Angry Birds!

Microsoft confirmed recently that the highly anticipated Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update will finally be here this week. Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is expected to bring over 500 new features and is the company’s hope to change things around for an ill-fated platform.
