Microsoft has rolled out an update for the OneNote app, available in the Windows Store. This update adds improvements when used on a Surface tablet, as well as a few other improvements.

“OneNote is your digital notebook for capturing and organizing everything across your devices. Jot down your ideas, keep track of classroom and meeting notes, clip from the web, or make a to-do list, as well as draw and sketch your ideas,” the app description reads.

In this update, Microsoft has added the following new improvements to the app: Full drawing capabilities when your Surface is locked, including ink color, highlighter, eraser types, and more; Ability to change the font and font size; Resolved sign-in issues that prevented some users from opening OneNote.
