iOS users with an active Office 365 account will now be able to set category colors within the Microsoft Outlook app.

This new feature comes as part of today’s update which brings the app to Version 3.32.0. The update should now be live for all iOS users in all regions.

Here’s the full release notes for the update:

  • Rainbows aren’t just in the sky. If you set category colors on your Office 365 account, you can now see them reflected in your calendar too.
  • Feel free to send us any comments or questions through our in-app support in Settings – we’d love to hear from you.

The Microsoft Outlook app updates fairly often on iOS. Recent updates added improvements for Apple Watch users and added new shortcuts for Siri voice commands. A future update is expected to bring dark mode to Outlook, a feature that many have been wanting for years.
