No new Windows Insider builds today or tomorrow, says Dona Sarkar

If you were waiting for Microsoft to release a new Windows 10 Insider build today, we’re sorry to report that you’ll have to wait a little longer. Head of the Windows Insider program Dona Sarkar has just tweeted that there will be no new build today or tomorrow as the team is currently busy looking at selfhost data:

#WindowsInsiders know the routine: we are looking at selfhost data today & tomm on our new build candidate. No new builds on Wed/Thurs.

Two weeks ago, the company rolled out the preview build 15031 on PC and mobile, which brought some cool new features on PCs such as compact overlay windows for UWP apps, dynamic lock and improvements to the Windows Game Bar.

Microsoft usually doesn’t release new builds on Friday, though the Windows Insider team made an exception last month for the build 15019 (which brought the much anticipated built-in Beam streaming feature). We’ll see what happens at the end of the week, so stay tuned on OnMSFT if you don’t want to miss anything about the next Windows 10 Insider build!
