Those of you who are both Xbox fans and basketball fans, and who happen to be in New York this week are in for a real treat at the Barclays Center.

The Brooklyn arena – which is home to both the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the New York Liberty of the WNBA – is hosting an Xbox/Roblox themed court during this week’s New York Liberty home games against the Los Angeles Sparks. The two games will take place on August 2 and August 3.

NEW YORK – August 2nd, 2022 – The New York Liberty in collaboration with @Xbox has unveiled the @WNBA’s first-ever gaming inspired basketball court for the team’s August 2nd and August 3rd home games versus the Los Angeles Sparks at Barclays Center. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/VfAQDaFuyx

Those who can’t make it to the Barclay Center can still experience the Xbox court in the Roblox game Infinite Canvas’ Dunking Simulator. And unlike its real-life counterpart, the Roblox experience will feature pyrotechnics, fan chants, and 11-year-old sports journalist Pepper Persley as host. Access the Infinite Canvas’ Dunking Simulator experience here, just create a Roblox account if you don’t already have one.

Fans can also visit Power her Dreams to share their experiences. Microsoft will donate $10 for every submission to either the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation or Girls Who Code, with a maximum $50,000 to each nonprofit organization.
