New firmware update for Surface Pro delivers improved reliability

Microsoft has released the first firmware update for its Surface Pro device since 15th March (via Neowin). This latest update to the firmware of the tablet is available for all variants of the Surface Pro, including WiFi-only and cellular devices.

The changelog for the update doesn’t provide much; by all accounts this is a rather small update. Coming in at firmware version 8.3.10207.5567, devices running the latest firmware will see improved reliability, with no detrimental effect to other parts of the system, such as security.

Windows Update will prompt or automatically install the update. Alternatively, those wishing to install the update manually can do so by going here to download it from Microsoft’s website.
