Insider Gaming and others have reported that almost an hour’s worth of Starfield footage was uploaded on YouTube before being removed at the request of Bethesda parent company Zenimax.

Apparently the video (which was shot on a smartphone in portrait mode) showed the game’s opening, including character creation, dialogue events, and both regular and spaceship combat. The uploader seems to have somehow got their hands on a copy of the Starfield Constellation Edition, according to the reports.

As mentioned, the video has already been taken down, so you won’t have to worry about it spoiling anything for you. But if you are sensitive to spoilers then you may want to proceed with caution when online, as this will almost certainly not be the last leak to occur before Starfield’s September 6 launch.
