Minecraft Story Mode reaches Nintendo Switch as second episode releases August 15 on other platforms

It's no secret that the Nintendo Switch is still catching up on titles when it comes to video games. The most recent gaming console pushed out by Nintendo launched earlier this year and has been catching up.

Today, Telltale announced that it's first Minecraft Story Mode video game will be arriving on Nintendo Switch for North America on August 22. European players will be getting it three days later. The Minecraft Story Mode (The Complete Adventure) includes all eight episodes released for the first season for $39.99 USD.

Unfortunately for Nintendo Switch users, that also means they'll also be behind on the latest of the Minecraft spin-off video games. Telltale's Minecraft Story Mode Season Two is releasing its second episode as well this month. Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android will be able to play it on August 15th, reports Eurogamer.

Neither Mojang or Telltale has yet to state if they are currently working on the episodic release of Minecraft Story Mode Season Two for Nintendo Switch or if the developers will wait until it is complete to release the full version.
