Microsoft's Surface Hub app for Surface Pro 3 lets you set your Surface Pen preferences and more

If you own a Surface Pro 3, you must download this app right now. New to the Windows Store is an app called Surface Hub, which is designed to complement the Surface Pro 3 by allowing you to set your Surface Pen preferences and more.

“Get the most out of your Surface. Surface Hub provides you with customization for your Surface Pro 3 device. Configure your Surface device. Give feedback on your experience so we can keep making it better,” the app description reads.

The app allows you to set the Pen pressure sensitivity to your liking by simply adjusting a slider. You can then test your pen sensitivity within the app. The second option allows you to dictate whether the top button on the Surface Pen opens up OneNote (modern) or OneNote (desktop application).

The app also allows you to provide feedback directly to Microsoft. It is a very basic form that lets you rate your Surface Pro 3 experience by asking you if you would recommend the device to a colleague or friend. You can also type up some feedback and send it to Microsoft.

The app is very basic at this time and clearly this app coincides with the recent firmware update that Microsoft released. In fact, that particular update for the Surface Pen Driver (v2.0.1145.0) enabled “additional upcoming configuration options for Surface Pro 3.” We knew this app was going to be released, but had no idea it was going to be made available so soon.

Hit the download link below to snag the app for your Surface Pro 3.
