Microsoft’s new Office app for Windows 10 is now available for all users

Back in December, Microsoft started testing a new Office app with Windows Insiders that replaced the previous “My Office” inbox app on Windows 10. Starting today, this new Office app is available to download for all Windows 10 users, but Microsoft also plans to roll it out to everyone over the next few weeks.

Just like Office.com, the new Office app for Windows 10 works like a central hub for your Office activity, but it’s actually a PWA that works even when your PC is offline. Clicking on any of your files will open them in the Office desktop apps if they’re already installed, otherwise you’ll be redirected to the free Office Online apps.

The new Office app also works with Office 365 subscriptions, and IT admins can customize it with their company’s brand or additional features like the new Microsoft Search. For everyone else, the app also provides quick access to local files and OneDrive files, as well as helpful tricks to learn more about the different Office apps.

Please note that it may take some time for the new app to appear on the Microsoft Store, but it should be available from the link below.
