Microsoft to roll out its Kaizala mobile messaging app in more markets across the world

Two years ago, Microsoft Garage unveiled a new messaging app for the mobile-first workforce called Kaizala. The app is free to use on iPhone and Android, but it’s also now available with Office 365 in 28 markets worldwide.

This “Kaizala Pro” offer for Office 365 users, which includes exclusive features like public groups, system integration and automation using Kaizala APIs and more will soon roll out to more Office 365 users accross the world. “We will be adding Kaizala Pro to Office 365 commercial plans worldwide over time,” Microsoft announced today without giving further timing details.

For now, Office 365 admins still have to Enable Kaizala in the markets where the app is available. What was born as a Microsoft Garage project may now appear redundant next to all the other communication apps in Office 365, but Kaizala still has some unique features for mobile workers like offline and 2G support. Just like with WhatsApp, you can also sign in by using your phone number. You can learn more about Kaizala’s market availability on this page, and also get the app from the donwload links below.
