Microsoft is getting ready to share more details about its upcoming first-party games during the Xbox Games Showcase Extended at 10 AM PT this morning. The event should be an interesting a follow-up to Sunday’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which was Microsoft’s most viewed E3 event ever according to Xbox head Phil Spencer.

Today’s event will feature interviews with developers working on various upcoming Xbox Game Studios titles, including games coming later this year such as Halo Infinite, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Psychonauts 2, Age of Empires IV, and Forza Horizon 5. Rare will also be here to discuss the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover event in Sea of Thieves, and Ninja Theory will also share a behind-the-scenes update on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, a game that absent from last week’s Xbox E3 2021 showcase.

The Xbox Games Showcase Extended will air on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube this morning, but you can watch it below:

These past couple of days have been pretty crazy for video games fans, and Microsoft even had some big pre-E3 announcements with the expansion of Xbox Cloud Gaming to more platforms including TVs and Xbox consoles. The software giant also revealed that it’s nearly done upgrading its xCloud servers with Xbox Series X hardware, which will make it possible to bring next-gen games like Microsoft Flight Simulator to Xbox One gamers.

If E3 2021 officially finished two days ago, today’s Xbox Games Showcase Extended event is a good way for Microsoft to increase mindshare for the Xbox brand. The “Xbox has no games” memes had a pretty good run, but the Xbox ecosystem now appears stronger than ever with Microsoft showing on Sunday no less than 27 new games coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
