The iOS Microsoft To-Do app received a pretty big updated today that brought the app to Version 1.56 and added support for Microsoft Planner integration and flagged emails.
The Microsoft Planner integration automatically turns on when using the same work or school Microsoft account with each service. Essentially, tasks will immediately sync to To-Do from Planner and are added to the Assigned to Me list to be completed.
The flagged email feature is also pretty seamless and will automatically add flagged emails from a Microsoft-hosted inbox (such as via Outlook) to the Flagged Email list in To-Do.
Here’s the full release notes:
Hold on to your hats, we have not one, but two big announcements today:
Introducing the Microsoft Planner integration—tasks assigned to you in Planner (available for work and school accounts) will now show up in the Assigned to Me list in To-Do. You can enable it in To-Do today.
You can now flag emails in personal inboxes hosted by Microsoft and they’ll turn up in your Flagged Email list in To-Do when logged into that same account.
You can also enable this in To-Do.
Pretty exciting, right?
Don’t worry, it’s not all about big updates. We’ve also made a bunch of fixes including:
We no longer duplicate a file if you move a task.
We’ve stopped crashes when you tried to access a shared list.
We’ve fixed an accessibility issue where the voiceover focus was being reset.
