Microsoft releases firmware updates for Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3

Microsoft is pushing out firmware updates for the Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3. Unfortunately we don’t have any information on the update and there isn’t even anything on the official Surface update history pages for the two devices so it’s likely just bug fixes and maybe some other small enhancements.

It could simply be that these updates could be to prepare the devices for the launch of Windows 10, which will be here on the 29th of July and will naturally see a rather significant way in which the hardware is used.

Have you worked out what’s included in these updates and are you excited for the launch of Windows 10? Will you be upgrading on launch day or are you taking a more wait-and-see approach?  Let us know in the comments below and be sure to stay tuned to WinBeta as we provide more breaking news related to Windows 10 and Microsoft.
