With the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft is putting people at the center of your Windows 10 experience. In her 15-year career at Microsoft, Alison O’Mahoney has been figuring out a way to make stronger human connections through technology. With the Windows 10 Creators Update, “MyPeople” is Microsoft’s fastest way to connect and share with the people that matter the most in your life.

Microsoft was looking for the fastest and simplest way to share in Windows 10. With the MyPeople feature in the Windows 10 Creators Update, all you need to do is simply drag the content you want to share with the person you want to share it with, type the message, and you are done. No heavy lifting required. MyPeople will be located on the taskbar to share content with the most important people in your life. Whatever content you want to share, 3D content in the new Paint app, emojis, Windows 10 game clips, you can share it all, directly from your desktop.

With the Windows 10 Creators Update, MyPeople will work via SMS relay on Skype, Facebook, and more. MyPeople is set to launch in the Windows 10 Creators Update in early 2017, but Windows Insiders will likely see MyPeople even earlier, stay tuned in the coming weeks as we learn more about this exciting new feature!
