Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL gets price cut in Europe

Last month, Microsoft dropped the price of the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL in the UK, reducing the retail price by £50, which brings it down to £529.99 including VAT for the Lumia 950 XL and £449.99 including VAT for the Lumia 950.

Well, it seems the devices are going to see more price cuts in other parts of Europe as well. Amazon France has reduced the price of the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL to €563 and €649, respectively (via GSMArena). Previously, the online retailer was selling the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 Xl for €599 and €699, respectively. So it’s a pretty noticeable price drop, and may attract more customers.

Although the price cut is on Amazon France, the retailer is shipping the device all over Europe. If you compare it with the Microsoft Store price in the UK, you’ll notice it costs slightly less.

As for the shipping date, there’s no official word about the availability in France, but the handsets are set to hit retail in the UK starting December 12th, according to the Amazon UK listings. We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything about its availability from Amazon France.
