After a one month period of testing with beta users, Microsoft has finally rolled out version 4.4 of Microsoft Launcher to the general public. The Microsoft-centric Android launcher picks up the ability to create folders in the app drawer, batch mode on home screen, and more with this update (via Neowin.)

Have a look at the full changelog below. Keep in mind that in addition to these new features, there is also the usual bug fixes, and performance enhancements.

  • Enable creating folders in app drawer;
  • Batch mode on home screen and app drawer – long press menu;
  • Enable/disable dock;
  • App launching animation;
  • Pill count improvements on Line, BBM, Instagram, Yammer, Textra, WhatsApp and more;
  • Weather / Time widget refinement to mitigate weather not refresh issue.
