Microsoft interns got a surprise Maroon 5 concernt last night

The summer interns for Microsoft surely have had their hands full with all the work they’ve had to do but as they say “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” To share some fun with their interns, Microsoft threw a Maroon 5 concert at Seattle’s Gas Works Park last night. As GeekWire reports, locals and kayakers tried to partake in the fun as well.

Microsoft interns get to have fun both technologically and recreationally. Previous interns have launched a balloon with a camera into space using a Surface, Bing, and Azure and others have developed popular apps such as the now no longer active Tetra Lockscreen.

Some folks on Twitter took the chance to share the concert online. One photographer was Josh Trujillo from SeattlePI.com. According to the conversation on Twitter after he posted this photo, the concert was a surprise and wasn’t listen on calendars. It did create quite a bit of buzz though, as well as a good time for the Microsoft interns.
