Last year saw the Canadian smartARM as the winner of the 2018 Imagine Cup for their robotic psosthetic hand with a built-in camera at the palm used for recognizing objects to find the best grip. The prosthetic was made possible thanks to Microsoft Azure Computer Vision and machine learning in the cloud.
If you head over to the Imagine Cup website, you'll be able to find more information this year's competition taking place next week, as well as add the event to your calendar to be able to livestream the event.
