Microsoft Edge browsing verification code issues

A rather small update has begun to roll out to Edge Insiders within the Microsoft Edge Dev channel. Labelled as Version 85.0.564.8, this latest update’s main purpose is to fix bugs relating to reporting data and app icon sizes.

Here’s the brief release notes:

Today’s small update should provide a fix for the issue where some icons are too big.  Additionally, we improved the relevance of Family Safety reporting data, and we fixed an issue where certain management policies like HomepageLocation or NewTabPageLocation stopped working and returned a message that they were blocked.

Edge Insiders are dedicated Edge enthusiasts who volunteer to test early versions of the Microsoft Edge web browser before they’re made available to the general public. Due to this testing, the two bugs mentioned above will likely never be experienced by the average user.
