The Microsoft Edge beta app for iOS devices has begun testing an option that allows users to manually choose a mobile or desktop version of a website. This option has actually been available to Windows 10 Mobile users for a while now so it was only a matter of time before Microsoft began bringing it to more versions of the app.
The Microsoft Edge beta app is a special app available to those enrolled in Microsoft’s TestFlight program. The company uses this set of users to test beta versions of apps on iOS devices for bugs before adding new fixes or features to the public versions. Given that the beta app has begun testing this feature, it’s safe to assume that the regular iOS Edge app will get it in the coming months.
