Microsoft drops the price on Surface Book 2s, you can save up to $300

Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 hybrid laptop isn’t even a year old yet, but the company is currently offering up to $300 savings on all configurations except the base 13.5” Core i5 Surface Book 2 with just 128 GB of storage (via Neowin). Only the model with a 13.5” screen, an Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of storage and no dGPU is getting a $200 discount, but all Core i7 models in 13″ and 15″ variations are now $300 off, which is pretty cool if you want one with an NVIDIA dGPU.

Here is the full list of discounted Surface Book 2 configurations:

13.5” Surface Book 2:

  • 256GB / Intel Core i5 – no dGPU – $1,299 ($200 off)
  • 256GB / Intel Core i7 – $1,699 ($300 off)
  • 512GB / Intel Core i7 – $2,199 ($300 off)
  • 1TB / Intel Core i7 – $2,699 ($300 off)

15” Surface Book 2:

  • 256GB / Intel Core i7 – $2,199 ($300 off)
  • 512GB / Intel Core i7 – $2,599 ($300 off)
  • 1TB / Intel Core i7 – $2,999 ($300 off)

The Surface Book 2 is Microsoft’s most powerful laptop, thanks to the inclusion of high-end NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and 1060 GPUs on the Core i7 models. The hybrid laptop was also the first Surface device to include a USB-C port, though with no support for Intel’s Thunderbolt 3 technology. If the Surface Book 2 doesn’t represent the perfect 2-in-1 device for you, we remind you that B&H is still offering the the base Core i5 Surface Pro for just $699 ($300 off).
