Microsoft brings Greek mythology to Minecraft for Xbox with their new mashup pack

Great news is here for Minecraft players, especially those who are fans of Athenian culture. The new Greek Mythology Mashup Pack brings historical figures from the ancient Greek mythology to the world of Minecraft Xbox One and Xbox 360 editions as well as for other game consoles for just $3.99.

This skin pack includes 39 skins such as Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, and more. In addition to the many skins this pack offers, there’s also a custom texture set, as well as a new GUI and an original orchestral soundtrack composed by Gareth Coker. Here are a few screenshots so you can see what some of the skins and textures look like.

The full set of skins in this pack include Satyr, Cyclops, Minotaur, Hephaestus, Erinyes, Medusa, Helen of Troy, Minos, Harpy, Dryad, Cerberus, Siren, Spartoi, Prometheus, Hydra, Heracles, Achilles, Theseus, Odysseus, Perseus, Jason, Zeus, Hades, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Hera, Hermes, Argonaut 1, Argonaut 2, Sea Monster, Trojan Warrior, Atlanta, Medea, Stygian Witch, and Cadmus.

And of course, if Greek mythology isn’t really your style, or you’d just like to try something else, there’s also the Simpsons skin pack, Doctor Who skin packs, Star Wars rebels skin pack, the Patterns Texture Pack, and many more.
