Microsoft recently announced that it is to open a new flagship store at 677 Fifth Avenue in New York City, but that’s not the only US city lucky enough to be getting a new Microsoft store. Other locations with new Microsoft stores on the way are two cities in Florida and Pennsylvania.
Here are all the details:

International Plaza and Bay Street (2223 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, Fla. 33607) – Thursday, Nov. 5. The store will be located on the upper level Nordstrom wing. This will be Microsoft’s eighth retail store in Florida. The store will have 3,521 square feet of retail space and employ approximately 30 people.
King of Prussia Mall (160 N Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406) –Saturday, Nov. 7. The store will be located on the Plaza lower level near the fountain. This will be Microsoft’s first full line store in Pennsylvania. The store will have 3,565 square feet of retail space and employ approximately 30 people. It is an exciting time for King of Prussia Mall with the upcoming wing expansion and Microsoft is excited to be a part of the second largest mall in the country.

We’ll bring you more details about all the activities surrounding the opening of these stores as soon as we receive them.
It’s great to see Microsoft rolling out more stores across the country as these are a much needed physical presence in the community. Microsoft stores offer customers technical guidance and give them the opportunity to go hands on with Microsoft hardware such as the Surface tablet devices or Microsoft Band.
