The Microsoft Translator apps are always improving, and today brings another update, bringing with it a new feature and a better experience for those who depend on the app for translation capabilities. The updates, now live, brings Phrasebooks and Bilingual Dictionary to Translator mobile apps.

Thanks to Phrasebooks, you can now find the perfect word in the right translation situation. Microsoft notes that phrasebooks will give you quick access to, “everything you need to get around, sorted by topic.” The Translator team even notes, “you can even save the ones you think you’ll need the most to a Favorites screen for even quicker access.” Phrases can even be displayed in full screen, pasted into another app, or played aloud in a native accent.

The Bilingual Dictionary, meanwhile, shows alternate translations to or from English, and expands of words in context.  The feature was orginally introduced in Translator for Bing back in March, but is now available from within the Translator app. As is before, though, the feature depends on a large amount of data, so it is currently only available to or from English.
