Latest Microsoft Edge Dev build update adds new features and usual reliability fixes – onmsft.com

Microsoft has released a new Edge Dev build update, coming in at 108.0.1438.1. The build update adds a ton of features, among them a management policy to disable Web Select as well as one designed to control Workspaces, an experimental API to WebView2 for creating Shared Memory buffers with JavaScript objects, and finally Improved Read Aloud UX on Android.

The update also features a ton of fixes that you can check out on Microsoft’s blog post. In other Edge related news, Microsoft added a bunch of new features to Edge during Ignite 2022, all designed to enhance the user experience. At the beginning of the month, Microsoft Edge 106 also shipped to the Stable Channel which features some tweaks as well as the usual reliability fixes. You can trigger the update by visiting Edge’s Settings menu, then click on Help and Feedback, select About Microsoft Edge, and then wait for the browser to download the update.
