Gwent: The Witcher Card Game updated on Microsoft’s Xbox One consoles this week with a variety of card changes and the launch of its first special event, the Mahakam Ale Festival.

This special event will run for the next week or so and provides players with several special matches to master, after which they’ll be rewarded with a new avatar, border, and title. This update also added the ability to change the card shown on a user’s profile and single player campaigns will now grant experience points. Numerous cards were also slightly changed. You can view the changelog here.

Gwent is a free-to-play digital card game based on the popular The Witcher video game series. Are you a fan of Gwent and do you like these recent updates? Let us know in the comments below.
