Internet Explorer lets you explore the online world through touch

A new video from Microsoft highlights the touch-friendliness of Internet Explorer, showing that the browser is so intuitive that even a toddler can pick it up and use it. The “Explore the World Through Touch” video starts off by showing a young child doing what children do — touching everything from glitter and glue to fruit and bubbles.

The child is then shown sitting with a Surface, using the touchscreen to interact with Internet Explorer without help from a parent. Despite the youth of the child, Internet Explorer proves incredibly simple to use, and this is very much the takeaway message for the video.

But the video doesn’t just highlight the fact that Internet Explorer is intuitive and easy to use. It also stresses the importance of maintaining a childlike enthusiasm for the internet — something that is all too easy to forget.
