Injustice 2, the latest superhero fighting game from NetherRealm Studio, is free to play this weekend for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The free trial will be available on your Xbox One through Sunday, December at 11:59 PM PST, and you can also purchase the game for just $25 (50% off) during this latest Free Play Days session.

For those unfamiliar, Injustice 2 lets you fight with many characters from the DC Universe and other third-party franchises. “During the event, the Injustice 2 main roster will be available to play in all of the game’s multiplayer modes,” the developer explained yesterday. “For those who prefer to fight on their own, the first three chapters of the story mode will be available to play and a few of the DLC characters can be found lingering in the Multiverse.”

Injustice 2 has already been enhanced for the Xbox One X, and it also support High Dynamic Range on both the Xbox One X and the Xbox One S. Let us know in the comments if you’re planning to check out the game this weekend.
