ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event running from June 21 through June 27 with over 30 demos of unreleased Xbox games

You didn’t really think the E3 season was over with, did you? Not by a long shot, because Geoff Keighley is not quite done with us yet! As part of his Summer Game Fest promotion, the third ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event is an extension of the Summer Game Fest event that was livestreamed back on June 9.

There was a short but exciting teaser trailer showcasing some upcoming ID@Xbox titles as part of Tuesday’s Xbox @ Bethesda Game Showcase Extended stream, reminding us that the indie game scene is still very much flourishing on Xbox.

Starting on June 21, the week-long Demo Event will feature over 30 playable demos of unreleased upcoming Xbox games, which will only be accessible via the Xbox Dashboard. Note that these demos are of unfinished products, unlike the normal demos you’ll find on the Demo channel, which are made after the game’s completion.

What this means is that you are getting very early access to these games. It also means that the developers of the featured games would love your feedback and constructive criticism, which you’ll be able to provide via social media and the game developer’s respective websites. Here is a brief (and very incomplete) list of just some of the games that’ll be featured:

  • Batora: Lost Haven
  • Broken Pieces
  • Severed Steel
  • Tinykin

The event will run through June 27. Be sure to check out these demos while they are up on the Xbox Dashboard. Who knows, you may just find a future sleeper hit among them.
