Over the past couple of months, the HP Elite x3 has been discounted several times on the US Microsoft Store. Nearly a year after its launch, the business-targeted phone is still one of the most expensive Windows 10 Mobile handset on the market today, though Microsoft is once again offering a $200 discount on the HP Elite x3 bundle (now $599) which including HP’s Desk Dock for Continuum (via Neowin).

Interestingly, the store listing doesn’t mention that this is a limited time offer, so the discount may well be permanent. As a reminder, here are the main features of the HP Elite x3:

  • 5.96″ WQHD AMOLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC
  • 16MP Full HD camera
  • 64GB/expandable up to 2TB via microSD
  • Iris recognition and fingerprint reader
  • Compatible with GSM carriers
  • Supports Continuum via HP’s Elite x3 Desk Dock
  • Access to select Win32 apps through HP Workspace (premium subscription)

The HP Elite x3 is not the only premium Windows 10 Mobile handset to be discounted right now, as the more affordable Alcatel Idol 4S is still available at $272.99 on Amazon. The Elite x3 has some exclusive features though, such as the HP Workspace virtualisation app. You can learn more about the handset by checking our detailed review.
