Hi-Fi Rush has won the award for “Best Original IP” at Develop Brighton 2023. For those unfamiliar with the Develop Conference, it is Britain’s biggest expo and conference for gaming developers, and is held annually in Brighton. This year’s event runs from July 11-13, meaning that the festivities are soon to wrap up for another year.
It probably should come as no surprise that Bethesda’s quirky and stylish rhythm action game took home the honors for Best Original IP for the last 12 months. Hi-Fi Rush took the gaming world by storm when it was surprise-launched following the Xbox Developer_Direct early this year. Only last week the game got a huge update that added two all-new game modes in addition to a slew of new content, challenges and more.
Hi-Fi Rush has been played by over 2 million gamers, and is available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows, as well as via Xbox Game Pass including Xbox Cloud Gaming compatibility. The recognition from the Develop Conference Awards marks a huge honor for the game.
