The latest update for Hi-Fi Rush delivers a much-requested feature: Photo Mode. Now players can take snapshots of the game’s gorgeous cartoon-like visuals and add effects, filters and more. The game’s official Twitter account announced the new Photo Mode Update on Wednesday.

The account has also stated that,

Now that Photo Mode’s out, have fun and practice taking pictures, as we’ll be having a contest very soon!

The post contains a link to a Photo Mode guide with the update release notes. The update also included several bug fixes.

Hi-Fi Rush has become a sleeper hit since its out-of-the-blue reveal during the Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct back in January, just hours before its surprise release. The game has now been played by over 2 million players just over two months since its launch. Hi-Fi Rush also received much critical praise, and we posted our OnMSFT roundtable impressions shortly after its release.
