Yesterday an Amazon webpage promoted pre-ordering Always Connected PCs and gave prospective users the first way of getting a device in their hands. Now just a little over 24 hours later, the Microsoft Store here in the US is now also offering up the unlocked versions of the ASUS NovaGo and HP Envy x2 Always Connected PCs for sale (via Windows Central.)

The ASUS NovaGo is available for $699 ($629.10 for students and military) and comes with a 13.3 in Full HD LED-backlit display and Windows 10 in S Mode. It has a total of 6GB of RAM and comes with 128GB eMMC storage on board. Other features on the device include up to 22 hours of battery life and a fingerprint sensor.

A step up in pricing is the HP Envy x2, which is available for $999 ($899.10 for students or military) with slightly lower specs. This device is powered by Windows 10 in S Mode and has a 12.3-inch Full HD touchscreen, 4GB memory, and a 128GB SSD. You’ll get the same 22 hours of battery life, but unlike the ASUS NovaGo, it is touch enabled and includes the HP Digital Pen in the box.

These were the first Always Connected PCs to become available this year, along with Lenovo’s Mix 630. Qualcomm actually just revealed the Snapdragon 850 Mobile Compute Platform for Windows 10 devices, so you can expect for next-gen devices to come out soon as well.
