Gears of War 4 Xbox One beta set to begin Spring 2016

Last month at E3, Rod Fergusson of the recently renamed studio The Coalition, showed off Gears of War 4 which is set to launch in time for the 2016 holiday season.

Yesterday, the folks over at Gamespot were able to find out more information on Gears of War 4. The information gathered came so from Gamespot reading the fine print of the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition landing page. According to the disclaimer, those who purchase the upcoming Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before March 1, 2016 will gain “early access” to the Gears of War 4 beta.

WinBeta had previously reported on the inclusion of a Gears of War 4 beta access in the bundle. However, thanks to Gamespot, more of a timeline is forming for the when the beta will take place. The Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle goes on sale August 25th and is also available now for pre-order.
